Plot

Captain Xylo and Captain Yeta were workers at Hocotate Freight. One day, The President found out that someone had been buying expensive things, and the debt was 20,000 bells. Olimar and Louie were nowhere to be found. Xylo stepped in and decided to save Hocotate Freight. Yeta didn't want her friend to do this alone, so she decided to help. They set off in the S.S. Zymph. Soon, they realized that they had no idea where they were going, but they saw the Pikmin Planet and decided to land there. However, Yeta was impatient, and she jumped out of the ship and landed out of Xylo's sight. Xylo lands in a tropical area. He gets out of the ship and looks around. He walks for a while and then spots a seed in the ground. He pulls it out to reveal a red pikmin. Meanwhile, we see Yeta in an icy area. She sees a blue pikmin and plucks it. The blue pikmin sees something behind Yeta, and it runs away. Yeta turns around and we cut back to Xylo, following the pikmin to a Red Onion. It blossoms, and the red pikmin runs to a nearby pellet and picks it up, bringing it back to the onion. It sprouts 2 seeds, and Xylo is amazed. He crosses a bridge to find a Card on the ground. He commands the pikmin to bring it back to the ship. When they do so, the ship says that it is worth some pokos. The day ends.
