Pikmin: Distant Planet

Pikmin: Distant Planet is a non-canon game which was concieved at the same time as Pikmin: Sinister Incinerator, the first game in the Buildup Trilogy leading to Pikmin: Ultimate Doom. The original idea was for this to be a MOTHER 3 parody, but it is currently under construction and will probably start taking form after the real, canon Pikmin 3 is (hopefully) announced at E3 at the beginning of next month! So there is plenty to look forwards to.
Little is known of the game as of now, save for a few facts:
- It takes place long before Olimar ever visited the Pikmin planet, so Pikmin are the main characters.
- It reveals much about the past of the planet.
- The gameplay has changed drastically. It could still be considered a type of RTS (real-time strategy).
