A single paper towel.

Paper towels are very advantageous gameplay objects in Pikmin Forever. They appear in a stack that never depletes, and Winged Pikmin can be ordered to carry the next towel (each sheet technically has a weight of 0): they will always carry it by the corners. Other Pikmin can idle on the paper towel when Winged Pikmin pick it up, allowing the Winged Pikmin to carry non-winged Pikmin wherever the leader chooses (within the discovered area). One Pikmin requires one Winged Pikmin to carry, so a maximum of 50 non-Winged Pikmin may be carried (by 50 Winged Pikmin); leaders and items cannot be carried in a paper towel. When a leader orders Winged Pikmin to drop a paper towel, any non-Winged riding Pikmin are released, and the paper towel rips and fades away. This means a paper towel can only be carried from the stack; it is not an unlimited mode of transport. If Pikmin are carried somewhere, the player should ensure they have a way back to safety before ordering the Pikmin to be dropped off. If Winged Pikmin are somehow incapacitated while carrying, the paper towel will be dropped and the player will be alerted.
