The Rainbow Wollywog is a rather seldom seen species of Amphituber that has evolved a number of weapons to protect itself with. Its coloration is a mix of reds, yellows, greens and blues, with purple and orange stripes and a black stomach. It has the capability to crush Pikmin, but it prefers to do a random attack and then jump off the screen. Its corpse is worth a lot of seeds if brought to an Onion, but killing this creature is not an easy task, as when it jumps away, it'll never be seen for the rest of the day. This enemy will leap into the air when it sees a [[leader]] or a [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]], but unlike other amphitubers, it will jump in a semi-random direction away from them instead, making it less predictable than its relatives.

The Opalescent Wollywog is a rare species of amphituber. The colorful stripes and spots along its back give it its name, and it is coated in a clear liquid with an iridescent sheen.
