Nimkip are hostile Pikmin appearing in Pikmin: Revenge of the Darkfreeze. Rumored to be yet another experiment by the Darkfreeze, Nimkip resemble twisted forms of the Pikmin they represent, although with darker colors, and a mushroom at the end of their stem, and relentlessly pursue Pikmin and leaders alike until death. They are always present in groups of thirty to fifty individuals of the same variety, each emitting the hazard that their color represents. This makes them efficient counters to Pikmin, as a careless attack can lead to major losses. Nimkip are best handled by Pikmin of the matching type, but losses on both sides are to be expected during the conflict.
