The Minirandire is a strange enemy in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze that only appears in the Crypt of Enigma after a certain amount of time has passed, where small groups of them will appear suddenly from the ground to inconvenience leaders. A Minirandire will slowly move toward the nearest target, eating up to five Pikmin with its dorsal mouth should it come close enough. This enemy does not leave a body behind when defeated, as it merely sinks into the ground. It is the lesser form of the Chattering Randire.
When attacked, it will sink into the ground and reappear elsewhere, attempting to flank leaders and Pikmin; it may also do this if it does not have a clear path to its target. Despite appearances, Minirandires are usually little more than a nuisance and can be defeated fairly easily if their movement is observed carefully, although they can be somewhat dangerous in groups due to their tendency to approach from all sides.
