The Lila is a signature enemy appearing in Pikmin: Ultimate Doom. A purple blob resembling a Chuchu from the Legend of Zelda franchise, it has two large, yellow eyes, and glows purple when exposed to light. A Lila typically assumes the form of a low, thin puddle until Pikmin or leaders get close enough, causing it to change to its normal form to chase after them. If fled from, it will revert to its puddle form. To defeat the creature, have a leader punch it to stun it for four seconds, and then swarm it with any color of Pikmin.

- “This creature always reminds me of the gelatin back home on Hocotate. Coincidentally enough, the Lila happens to have almost the same chemical compound as gelatin. It glows purple in the alien sun and always tries to devour my Pikmin squad. Such behavior for such a cute animal must be researched.”
