How to Kill
Rock Pikmin are the best choice, as they cannot be impaled by this beast, and have high attack power. It can be harmed at any point on its body, but the bulb head takes the most damage.

Droneoid Family
This strange animal has an unorthodox exoskeleton, being made of a dark mineral instead of chitin. This offers it a powerful armor, greatly weakening strikes to the legs and torso. However, the bulb on top of the torso remains vulnerable, due to lack of exoskeleton growth. This creature is hostile, impaling smaller beings it encounters. Recent research indicates these creatures live in large colonies, with many different subspecies dwelling, each playing a different role. The Impaling Droneule harvests food for the colony.
Louie's Notes: Remove the bulb and discard the other remains. Chop the bulb into thin slices and salt heavily. Makes the perfect chips!
Trivia
The Impaling Droneule's scientific name translates to "Rock Drone."
