The Hungry Mawcuda is a predatorial fish appearing in Pikmin: The War of the Pikmin Planet. They typically inhabit deep pools of water, where they swim around freely. As carnivores, they eat any Wogpoles in its territory. When attempting to kill a Hungry Mawcuda, try to sneak up on it and pummel it with Blue Pikmin. Once its health is below half, it tries to flee, providing an opening to attack. Hungry Mawcudas look very similar to the small Gringills of the Super Mario franchise.
Notes
Olimar's notes
- “Hungry mawcudas are known for having large appetites, as they eat almost anything. Caution is advised if you want to approach the beast. Although studies have found that they are quite common sights on this planet, they appear to be rare in this particular region.”
