The hoolibeetle family consists of shelled insects, the shells of which are often reflective.

The Gemstone Goonbug features a tough shell, which, while at first appearing indestructible as well as of similar appearance to an Iridescent Flint Beetle, is merely a fancy coating which, while giving minor protection, is mostly to show off for females.
