Golden Skyhoppers are little blob-like creatures that release a surge of electricity when threatened. They are incredibly easy to kill, requiring a few hits from a Pikmin or a single hit from a leader, but their small size and agility may make it a difficult task. Like other skyhoppers, the Golden Skyhopper relies heavily on enemies around it to kill Pikmin antagonizing it; the creature will lure a nearby enemy over to Pikmin, or keep Pikmin busy until an enemy passes by.

These are really easy to kill, (one punch or one Pikmin toss) but are tricky to follow. They are very sticky and cling to walls. Then they set off obstacles on purpose or lure other enemies torwards the captain and squad of Pikmin. They do not eat Pikmin but do squish White Pikmin only because White Pikmin are so small. If a Golden Skyhopper tries to squash a Purple Pikmin, they instantly die. All of the rest of the colors they dont even try to squash.
