The Galvanic Blaster Beetle Larva, or simply the Blaster Beetle Larva is a species of immature lithopod appearing in Pikmin Evoluion and are the young forms of the Galvanic Blaster Beetle. They have the same body shape as most immature lithopods, that being they resemble grubs with stubby legs and spots on their sides. Though in this case the Galvanic Beetle Larva is yellow with orange spots with a pair of dark orange eyes. However rather than the circular mouths of the other Cannon Beetles, the Blaster Beetle has a thin, straw-shaped mouth with a glowing cyan tip. This indicates that this species does not shoot something solid like a boulder, or that they eat minerals like most lithopods. Rather the Blaster Beetle Larva uses their straw-like mouths to slurp up fruit juice and nectar, meaning if nectar eggs suddenly disappear, this creature is the reason. Part of the reason it drinks fruit juice is because it uses the sugars in the juice to fuel its main attack, since instead of a boulder, the Blaster Beetle Larva shoots balls of pure electricity. This electricity is different in that rather than the usual yellow, its green, which makes it much more deadly as any Pikmin who touches it will instantly disintegrate and die unlike normal electricity which simply scatters Pikmin and can be saved via whistling. This makes the main attack of the Blaster Beetle Larva very dangerous, which is compounded by the fact that rather than breaking when hitting a wall, the balls shot by the Blaster Beetle will ricochet off walls for a maximum of three times before they finally shatter. Blaster Beetle Larvae are both found wandering about and buried in dirt mounds, often stationed where their volt balls will cause the most damage. Of course since they shoot electricity they are completely harmless to Wisp Pikmin, who can simply swarm the creature with the Lithopod being completely unable to retaliate. If you lack Wisp Pikmin, you can also use a blue syrup, as the water held within will splash onto the Lithopod, shocking its body and stunning it, leaving it vulnerable to further attacks. Still without Wisp Pikmin, the Blaster Beetle Larva may be one of the most dangerous enemies in the game due to being one of the few creatures able to instantly kill Pikmin with their elemental attacks.
