The Froaga is an amphituber found only in Plumber's Pipe, acting as the main threat of sublevel four of the cave, in Pikmin: New World. It resembles a smaller version of the Wogpole, except with a darker skin tone and larger eyes. They travel in schools and swarm anything that so much as steps into the shallow water they hunt in that covers a majority of the sublevel. Though their Wogpole cousins are harmless and flee when approached, Froagas are highly violent and predatory creatures. Pikmin and leaders such as Captain Olimar are both equally as vulnerable to them. Froagas attack their prey as a group, knocking over leaders and Pikmin by ramming into them at full speed. Once a Pikmin is knocked over, a Froaga will leap out of the water to skewer it on its sharp, rounded tail, killing it. Froagas cannot be killed, but they can be temporarily stunned by hitting them a few times, either with a Pikmin or with a leader's punch.

Though their wogpole relatives are peaceful and harmless, froagas are the exact opposite. They have highly violent tendancies and will attack Olimar and his troop of [[blue pikmin]] by swarming them. The tiny amphibians are capable of knocking over Olimar and all of his pikmin with a group attack in which the entire school rams into the player's group at full speed. Once a pikmin is knocked over, it can be killed easily by a single spinning attack by an individual froaga. They are one of the game's very few invulnerable enemies which cannot be killed no matter what is done to defeat them. However, the group as a whole can be stunned for a small amount of time by fooling them into doing a charging attack into a rock. There is no possible way to scatter the group, as all of the froagas always stay very close together and never seperate. They are the main threat on the fourth floor of the Plumber's Pipe.
