So I've noticed that a lot of users here do not adhere to proper spelling/grammar/syntax. I think the reason why they do this is because we are a fan site — that is, our wiki's subject is not an actual subject. Because of this, users will think that we are more lenient than other wikis. But this needs to change. Way too many of our pages are in lacking of spelling, grammar, syntax and structure, and this only encourages even more pages like those to be created! Perhaps they do this because we are in a lack of help pages.

So, I hereby propose a new short-term policy (until we can get the help pages finished): the Structure Policy. This policy will force users to adhere to good spelling, grammar, syntax, and structure. If a page is in an obvious lack of these requirements, then a notice will be issued, asking them to clean up their page. If they do not comply, their page is deleted after three days. I am sorry if this sounds strict, but we must change our standards. Closely intertwining with this is Formatting Policy, Forum:Thoughts on wiki structure and Forum:Is the wiki dying?. I do acknowledge that it may be strict, and it may even scare off some users — but that's the price we'll have to pay if we want more quality pages. Grammar and spelling are a problem. I believe we should gently correct them and show them how to improve content. I don't think we should delete it if is bad quality, if they can't change, then we will improve spelling and grammar on the page so they will know what to do.
