How do i make an infobox template's sections be hidden? i have been making an Infobox template for my game but i do not know how to make subsections be unmandatory. – Dwarf Orange Bulborb (talk | fanon game | fictional console)
Huh? You mean the "==Info==", "==Parameter==", and the "==Skeleton==" sections? – Blower Pot Talk | Contributions | Fanon game
No, i mean for example when you make an infobox thing, and before you type in stuff that corresponds you don't see anything corresponding to it, for example Candypop buds in an infobox pikmin aren't shown at first, but you need to set a value for it to appear. Take this example:
Example one | |
---|---|
Scientific name | Unknown |
And with a value it turns into this:
Example two | |
---|---|
Enemy | |
Scientific name | Unknown |
Hope you understand what i'm going for. – Dwarf Orange Bulborb (talk | fanon game | fictional console)
That must be due to the double bar (||) which makes the parameter always appear unless with a {{{no[original parameter name]|}}} to make them not appear which I removed. – Blower Pot Talk | Contributions | Fanon game
Oh, you mean optional parameters? {{#if:
controls that. Take a look around at some infoboxes to see how it works. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy 13:29, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
