Usually, when you're searching for images on a web browser, there are options to select the licensing an image has. "Free/fair use" is what you want, so you don't upload a file we can get in trouble for hosting because it belongs to someone else (which is a ridiculous concept but whatever). There's also always fanart, but I would highly recommend against uploading any without express permission from the creator.
