As many people know most fanon games created here on Pikmin Fanon are made by two maybe three people at most. However, we have a large community of users here and the games creators' personalities could off put them from asking to help. So what if instead of one lone creator everyone was creating the game? The admins and I were discussing this possibility and we all think this could work, provided there were some ground rules.

  1. Only users leaf ranked and above can work on the game. This allows us to makes sure that only users that know the rules can work on it, and it eliminates the possibility of people making sock-puppet accounts to have large amounts of roles on the game.
  2. Each user can only have a certain amount of roles. The number is currently disputed though, so if anyone thinks of one don't hesitate to ask. ½: There will be some sort of manager or lead something for each set of roles. This manager would be elected from the people in the group of roles and would be in charge of collaborating with other managers.
  3. An admin will be in charge of moderating the whole thing to prevent edit-wars and the like. My fellow admins have already forced at gunpoint voted me into the role, so I guess I'll do it.

That does it for the proposed rules. They can be changed at any time before the first game is started, and your opinions are greatly valued on the rules.

Lastly, there needs to be a starting idea for the game before we start so we know what we are working on. The admancy and I have decided on a Pikmin RPG that uses sprites. The beauty of this is that there are plenty of Pikmin sprites around the internet, so we may be able to actually make the game. Hows that for a first community project! I think this is a good idea. However, has a game been set up as "community"? Peach Bulborb icon.png I'm Peach Bulborb, and I approve all grub-dogs. (Sysop)

Personally, I think that the Community Game is a good idea, and I try to be as active as possible. The plot could be like many fangame ideas mixed and changed to lead from one to the other! — Olimar and Pikmin army.jpg I'm Pikminfan27, and I approve all fangames.

Sadly, most of the users who were working on the game aren't here anymore. This project is basically dead... Sorry! :( ~PikFan23 (Admin) 14:08, 21 November 2015 (EST)
