The Flying Progg is the first boss in Pikmin 3: The Progg Wars. Defeating it gives access to the red Onion. It is capable of speaking, as it warns Leaders not to take its golf ball.

A boss in name only

The Flying Progg attacks by dropping his golf ball on Leaders and Pikmin, which will send out a shock-wave that will convert Pikmin. If a Leader or Pikmin gets under it, the Flying Progg will use an attack similar to a Smoky Progg and shoot a blast of transforming smokiness at them.

how to defeat

When it goes to pick up its ball, throw Pikmin at it. Rinse and repeat.
