The Flashpetal is a spitbloom in Pikmin 2... Again? that is found exclusively in caves. They look like white, three-petaled flowers. When first found, their petals are closed, but open when leaders come near. If a Pikmin extinction occurs or all leaders are downed, the Flashpetal will close, spin in place, slow to a stop, and then eject the Pikmin and leaders.
