Fiddlebert is a mischevious green humanoid resembling Olimar. His origins lie in Reddit, where he was thought up by the Pikmin community there. On June 27th, 2023, /u/Cabbage-426 posted an image macro to /r/Pikmin titled, "I'm really curious to see what any other gamecube players thought of him, I feel like he's not very talked about on here for whatever reason." The image macro asks if anyone remembers the second captain from Pikmin, Fiddlebert, a green-tinted Captain Olimar who would sometimes speak Lithuanian. The meme also claims the poster didn't like Fiddlebert and assumes Nintendo didn't either, claiming he was removed from the re-releases of the game. The post gained over 1,700 upvotes in two months. Fiddlebert's lore was expanded by OP in the comments of the post.

(**SPOILERS**) Description of the boss

Fiddlebert is the final boss of Pikmin 18,000,000,011. He is encountered and defeated in the Cave of Jokes. He appears almost identical to Captain Olimar but is completely green. Not much is known about him at first, but after bringing him to the ship, it is confirmed to be Olimar. According to his story, he crash-landed, and the Pikmin sent him to what they thought was an Onion. However, it was the Onyon, a sort of fake Onion, and through its unusual side effects, Olimar became Fiddlebert.
