The '''Equine Culinid''' is a large mosquito-like creature that uses its haustellum to suck up [[nectar]], [[spray]]s, and [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]], and as it does so, it will progressively fill up its abdomen. Eventually, it will gorge itself so much that it can no longer fly and must then gallop or trot. Sometimes, the Equine Culinid will walk into a body of [[water]] and lay an egg raft that will eventually hatch into [[Equine Larva]]e. The Equine Culinid will suck out the nectar of any eggs it passes by and either replace its contents with four to five [[Ujadani]] or leave it empty. Its abdomen and eyes are the only parts soft enough to be attacked by Pikmin, as the rest of its body is covered in a hard shell similar to the exoskeleton of an [[Armored Cannon Beetle]]. | |||
