The dry bulborb is a bulborb from a desert that despite its appearance is not dead. It is accually just dehydrated when it goes in the water it turns into a normal bulborb. It is light weight so any 1 pikmin can carry it. Any bulborb can become a dry bulborb whenever they are not anywhere near water.

- A bite attack where it eats 2 pikmin at a time
- or a surprise attack where it pretends to be dead but then surprises them and eats the pikmin.
