Culinid family

Culinids are enemies resembling the real-world Infraorder called Culicomorpha. They all are airborne enemies and are all semi-aquatic.

Equine Culinid

The Equine Culinid is a large mosquito-like creature that uses its haustellum to suck up nectar, sprays, and Pikmin, usually to the point of engorging itself so much that it can no longer fly. It can lay eggs that hatch into Equine Larva and can inject Ujadani into eggs it drinks from. A majority of its body is protected by thick armor, except for its eyes and its abdomen.
