The Croggywog is a very dangerous and unstable member of the Amphituber family. it has an extra bladder like organ that produces a form of volatile liquid. the Croggywog secretes this liquid through the pores in its skin. when it lands after a leap, it causes a miniature explosion, virtually harmless but visible. This explosion catches the ground on fire where the Croggywog landed. due to the properties of this chemical, it may catch fire on any surface. the fire is still extinguished in water, making this form of self defense useless. The drawback to this form of defense is that when exposed to flame, other than its own, it may explode in a fiery mess, destroying all in its path. Its own flame will not catch it on fire because the secretion creates a fire that can not harm the Croggywog due to it's new properties. Those same properties of the secretion that is not harmful to the Croggywog. It is theorized that the secretion is imprinted with the Croggywog's DNA, meaning that the fire is a non-living extension of the Croggywog. In other words the volatile liquid, and the fire, ARE the Croggywog.
