The Creeping Long Legs is a large, spider-like boss found within Pikmin Z, and final Boss within the Grateful Grove. It appears similar to the Man-at-Legs, with a fleshy exterior much like the Beady Long Legs with the exception of a grey exterior as opposed to an orange rustic one.

Creeping Long Legs is a average-sized spider-like creature found underground. It is able to create webs, as evident throughout the area where you find it, though it doesn't actively use the webs to attack you. Its main method of attack, like many other Arachnorbs, is to crush Pikmin under its feet, though it can also crawl on the walls and ceiling, sometimes dropping down onto enemies.

This species of Long Leg is an example, I believe, to be convergent evolution - something similar to a Dwarf Bulborb which are actually Breadbugs - due to its behavior in spinning webs, something more similar to an Arachnode I came across last time I was here. It's DNA though, and behavior mirror it to the Long Leg family a lot more, which is why I believe its a species of that family.
Strategy
The main method against the Creeping Long Legs is to avoid getting crushed by its attacks, and toss your Pikmin at its base. During various points, it will move onto the walls and ceiling to avoid you. Keep your eye on the floor where the shadow will emit, and avoid it before it can fall onto you. Continue the process until it falls.
