The Crackled Long Legs is a large spider-like creature appearing in Pikmin Eco as one of two arachnorb bosses, the other being the Hex-at-Legs. It is found as the boss in the Shimmering Seaside cave Illuminated Tunnels. It has a large, rounded abdomen supported by four thin yet sturdy legs, with its entire body covered in cracks and patterns that resemble tree bark. Like most other arachnorbs, the Crackled Long Legs has only one main attack: walking around and stomping on leaders and their Pikmin. Its abdomen is its weakspot, and Pikmin can be thrown onto it to chip away at the bark. Its black feet and spherical joints are too hard to be broken by Pikmin. After a while, it shakes off any Pikmin gripping onto it, then stomps more vigorously and rapidly before calming down and returning to its normal speed. It can only be damaged after its armor is broken off.

“This large specimen has developed a method of defense by gathering tree bark and using it as a form of defense against predators. The bark itself is kept in place due to sticky secretions released from its body. Without this armor, the arachnorb's secretions also act as a repellent for predators, which seems to act as a backup action in case its armor falls completely off. This doesn't seem to work on Pikmin though.”
