Clear pikmin are the second type of pikmin discovered in Pikmin:Reign of the Masses. They are discovered in Slime Harbor. In appearence, they are short and stubby, with the leaf, bud, or flower directly attached to the top of their heads instead of on a stem. They are see through, but in the center it is more concentrated. An example of this effect is in the ghosts of Luigi's Mansion:Dark Moon. Clear pikmin are resistant to any sort of goo hazard. Clear pikmin move 1.2 times faster than normal, and only carry worth 2/3. The amount of clear pikmin needed to carry something is never rounded up; it is always rounded down. As such, you need 2 to carry something worth one, 5 to carry something worth 3, and etc.
