The Chemical Goolix is a relative of the Goolix that only Green Pikmin can battle. An incredibly caustic, green acid makes up its membrane, but its internal structures remain the same: one larger nucleus causes more damage when hit but is difficult to hit repeatedly, and the other smaller nucleus can be attacked constantly for minimal damage. In Pikmin: Near Extinction
The Chemical Goolix reappears in Pikmin: Near Extinction, but has a different name: Acidic Goolix. It also has a different appearance. The Acidic Goolix only appears under certain conditions:
- In the landing site, the Mini Long Legs must have been defeated.
- Blue Pikmin and, preferably, Lime Pikmin, must have been discovered.
- There must be more than five hundred alive Pikmin total.
Only Lime Pikmin and Blue Pikmin can hurt it. However, it is a bad idea to fight early since the acid melts Blue Pikmin after a few seconds. It will instantly kill all other Pikmin. The acid-producing nuclei must be attacked and destroyed for the creature to melt away. Template:Clr

This is a miniboss in Pikmin: Ultimate Doom. It is found on sublevel five of the Acid Cave. The Chemical Goolix is territorial so it chases down any Pikmin or leader in its sublevel. It tries to drown Pikmin in acid. Template:Clr
In Pikmin 3: The Dweevil's Revenge
Template:PTDR In Pikmin 3: The Dweevil's Revenge, the Chemical Goolix is considerably lethal as well as invincible, as no Pikmin is immune to the substance it is made of. It is made of the same substance produces by the Smoky Progg. The Chemical Goolix will also try to ambush Pikmin and leaders by emerging from the ground, like a normal Goolix would. A Chemical Goolix appears in Wollywog World after day forty-five, and another one appears in sublevel seven of Chaotic Cove. Template:Clr
