The Chemical Chrysanthemum is a relative of the Creeping Chrysanthemum that uses poison and acid to deter its attackers. It has a violet body and a blue head. The Chemical Chrysanthemum behaves similarly to its relatives but relies on poison gas and acid to attack Pikmin instead of merely eating them. Its body is vulnerable to attacks but getting too close to it can be dangerous; it has the ability to emit a gas cloud that surrounds its lower body, poisoning nearby Pikmin. From afar, however, it can spew a steady stream of deadly acid that instantly kills Pikmin.
