The cannon tube family consists of plants that propel whatever disturbs them in a particular direction.
Members
Closing Boombloom
- Main article: Closing Boombloom
The Closing Boombloom is a large, red flower with an assortment of red petals. They lay docile on the ground until they hear a loud noise; like a whistle. The Boombloom will then close up and launch Pikmin, captains, and bomb rocks to another area.
Pocket Boombloom
- Main article: Pocket Boombloom
The Pocket Boombloom is a small, blue flower with thin petals. Unlike its larger counterpart, it does not react to noise. It instead will suck up any captains, Pikmin or bomb rocks near the flower and shoot it to another area; making them an automatic flower.
