Cacti are hazards that appear in Pikspore's The Great Desert and Pikmin: Shadows of the Future's Boulder Canyon. They are large, round and spiky plants that are just slightly smaller than a Red Bulborb, and come in both green and brown colors. If a captain runs into it, it'll deal some damage to that captain. If a Pikmin runs into it, it'll start panicking and it'll be reduced to Leaf form. If it gets hurt by a cactus in leaf form, it'll die. No Pikmin are immune to Cacti, and no enemies utilize it as a weapon.

Cacti also appear a few times in Pikmin Adventure, where they're much smaller, about the same size as Blue, but otherwise, they're the same. They deal some damage to Blue if he touches one.
