The Brute Aristocrab is a onionshell miniboss in Pikmin 2... Again?. It first appears on the Peckish Hole. It is similar to the Peckish Aristocrab but bigger and with two big claws, and in addition to eating Pikmin and blowing bubbles it can also smash Pikmin with its dual claws. Unlike its relatives, its shell is immune to damage but can be peeled off like a skin by Pikmin thrown onto it to expose the more sensitive flesh underneath. After taking enough damage, the Brute Aristocrab will shake its attackers off and rapidly regenerate its protective armor.

It doesn't have much of an appetite, but when blowing out bubbles, it spits up some extra water. This creature has an impressive sense of focus, so stunning it with ultra-bitter spray or lightning shocks to attack from behind is recommended.

Notes

Louie's recipe

The meat is not very different from the Peckish Aristocrab's. 2 claws are better if you have guests.

Olimar's notes

An evolved species of aristocrab. Further research reveals that the word "oculus" in its scientific name defines an evolved species via its size.
