A Breakdown Patch is the new name for the Mold in Pikmin 2. The insides of one consist of rubber layers with purple goo inbetween. Once the liquid turned a Spotty Bulbear eccosystem into the new creature, Ravenous Bulbear. This result concludes that the goo inside has raibies and is tested to be compared to the chemicals that Ravenous creatures foam out.
