Bland Bulborbs are not quite yet adult Bulborbs, but matured Bulborb Larvae. If a Bulborb Larva out for a span of about fifty days, it will grow to become a Bland Bulborb. If a Bland Bulborb is left out for a span of about sixty more days, it is able to become any member of the Grub-dog species. It is suggested to defeat a Bland Bulborb upon sighting one due to the large threat it could pose in the future. A Bland Bulborb does not have to be confronted immediately, but it is recommended to do so in case it is lost track of, as they do have a habit meandering around the area. As such, a Bland Bulborb that is ignored one day may not be able to be found on the next and then become an adult Bulborb in its seclusion.
