If a Bland Bulborb is left alive for about sixty more days, it will develop into any member of the [[grub-dog family]]. It is suggested to defeat a Bland Bulborb upon sighting one due to the threat it could pose in the future. A Bland Bulborb does not have to be confronted immediately, but it is recommended to do so if it is lost track of, as they have a habit of meandering around the area.
