The armored footwear is 2 Green Legs attached to a head. It is similar to the Justice Alloy and Forged Courage. It must be taken from a Gatling Groink in the Pit of 100 trials(P3:TDR). It makes the pikmin halfway acidproof. Any Pikmin on an acid pool could be rescued by Green Pikmin (Flip-gill). It helps Pikmin not instantly die from acid.

OK. So, we went and found this enemy. We beat it up, and took it back before it revived! I know that we are acidproof, but the pikmin will slightly be.
Sales Pitch
This, although not corrosive, is useful! The pikmin really need it.
