The Armored Flint Beetle is an enemy in Pikmin 3: The Progg Wars, and works for Louie. It is an Iridescent Flint Beetle with tough armor.
Attacks
It will charge at Pikmin, knocking them away and deflowering them. It may also grab Pikmin and burrow underground with them, resulting in their deaths.
Strategy
Repeatedly throw Pikmin onto it until it disappears. Leaders cannot harm it.

Behavior
The Armored Flint Beetle appears in Pikmin 10. It will charge at Pikmin to knock down and deflower them. When it rams into a wall, the Armored Flint Beetle can randomly drop nectar, pellets of any color, ultra-spicy spray, ultra-bitter spray, or their respective berries. If its crystal armor is broken and a Pikmin is thrown onto it, it will drop up to three of one of the aforementioned rewards at once before disappearing.
Appearance
The Armored Flint Beetle sports a tough, clear crystal exoskeleton that can be broken using Rock Pikmin. Its main body is silver and casts a glare if it is viewed from an angle. It has shiny red legs and sports a pair of thick blue antennae, the ends of which are green and glow in the dark.
