The Amethyst Pikmin has evolved close to the Torch Pikmin, in close caves. It also has lots of predators in the area, so it parasitises amethyst shards to camouflage itself.

Notes

Olimar's notes

This parasitic member of the Pikmin family has evolved in tight caves full of predators, making it mandatory to evolve camo; it thus parasitises an Amethyst shard to become more immersed with the environment it lives in.

Louie's notes

I have been threatened multiple times to not cook this Pikmin.
