The Bubbling Bulblax is a species of Grub-dog appearing in Pikmin: Spark. It is a teal-colored bulblax with a bumpy, rubber-like hide. Dwelling in dens these Grub-dogs act similarly to their other relatives, sleeping and only attacking when woken up. The rubbery skin contains pores that create a thin soapy film over the hide of the bulblax that foams when shaken. When the bulblax eventually tries to shake off the attacking Pikmin they will get trapped in bubbles leaving them vulnerable to the bulblax's biting attacks. And if it doesn't bubble any Pikmin by shaking them off then it will spew bubbles from its mouth to trap them as well. It is best to kill this creature as quickly as possible.

Notes

Abel's medical journal

The strange hide of this beast is naturally soapy even when dried, bizarrely this soap is also highly disinfectant.

Lyn's sale review

Forget cleaning this gentle beast, its skin does the cleaning of it, and maybe it can clean you as well.
