The Frigid Cavern is likely the last cave the player will venture to in the Rugged Tundra, the first area in Pikmin: Connection of the Worlds. This cave holds many treasures within, yet, a variety of hazards, obstacles, and enemies protect these treasures. In addition, the Frigid Cavern is located quite a distance away from the Landing Site, so it will take a while to get here. As such, the player should prepare themselves with the necessary things before exploring this deep cave. As it is located near the source of an icy spring, this cave is very watery and icy, except for the lower levels, where they are dry and warm. The Frigid Cavern is nine sublevels deep and has eighteen treasures.
