The Bulbrella is a Breadbug discovered in Pikmin Eco. While it appears like any regular Dwarf Red Bulborb except their eyes are slanted, and they have a large umbrella-like membrane on their back. Unlike most other enemies, they first appear from the sky, and float down to the ground before they try and eat any of the player's Pikmin. Upon landing they behave like any other Bulborb. It is possible to hit a Bulbrella while they're in the air, which will kill them instantly on landing. If they already land though, they can just as easily be defeated as any other Dwarf Bulborb.
Notes
- At first it was classified as its own species, but after further studies, it's revealed that this is actually a Dwarf Bulborb infected by a parasitic Pikmin, much like the Bulbmin we've studied before. However, it doesn't seem to be influenced by the Pikmin in any way, and instead actually aids from it since the Pikmin's flower membrane acts as a parachute. This must be a case of mutual protection between both creatures.
