The Lilytail Lobcense is an enemy in Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers. It resembles a green eurypterid that lives on land, has paddle-shaped frontal claws, and what appears to be the flower of a lily-of-the-valley on the tip of its curled tail. It is constantly on edge, skittering around a small area and only rarely stopping. When approached from the front, it will use the paddles on its frontal limbs to swat Pikmin away, though it is unable to depetal them. It can also flick a droplet of rose-colored nectar from the flower topping its tail. Pikmin that drink it will become confused and dance erratically around the massive arthropod. It can also droop its tail behind its body to have the nectar run onto Pikmin it can not reach over there. Despite all this, the creature is ultimately not as dangerous as it may look and has no potential to jeopardize the squad. Confused Pikmin can be brought back to their senses by forcing the Lilytail Lobcense to flinch.

- “Its appearance evokes the image of a blooming flower, and one may think it's in the ambuloradicis class with other animalistic plants. However, it is merely evolutionary mimicry. Part of the nectar it consumes ferments within its stomach, and combines with flakes lining its intestines to form a dizzying agent that confuses prey before it strikes.”
