The Flatoculus is a disguising enemy found in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The creature resembles an eyeball, specifically a large, somewhat flat eyeball on the ground. However, it disguises itself as a small, flat stone. If approached, it will reveal its true identity. It will then begin to glow a bright yellow for 3 seconds, before shooting out a ray of yellow light directly upwards. Up to 10 Pikmin caught in this ray can die. No Pikmin is immune to the Flatoculuses attack. However, it has a 5 second cooldown after shooting; making it extremely vulnerable. It pops out of the ground when it dies, making it accessible to transport to the Onion or ship.
