The Spitfire Beetle is an aggressive flying beetle enemy in Pikmin: Under Lock and Key that utilizes fire-based attacks. It idly walks around a small area until it is approached by leaders or Pikmin, whereupon it will start flying towards them with their long abdomen pointing forward, rapidly fire several flaming pellets along it's path. These projectiles do not instantly kill Pikmin but will set all but Red Pikmin ablaze on contact. They can be flipped over like Anode Beetles but you can also throw Red Pikmin at it while it's flying to make it fall down on it's back too.
