Sprawlvines are tall plants in Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers. It is initially found as round, maroon bean with cream colored markings on the top. The bean can be found isolated on the ground, or inside certain enemies. The Pikmin will carry this seed to a spot on the ground, usually near a cliff, that is marked with a crossed line marking. Pikmin can dig at this spot to make a hole, and the other Pikmin will place the bean into it. A pile of soil is made from the Pikmin digging, they can be ordered to place the soil back over the hole, patting it down to secure the bean.
Over the next seven days, the bean will grow a vine that extends progressively and supports itself on the cliff it is next to. After seven days, it will be fully grown, with numerous branching leaves, seed pods and warts, ending in a curl. Walking into the vine as Olimar or Louie will cause them to grab ahold of the vine and climb it, with the rest of the party following suit. The player can climb both upwards and downwards, and going to the top of the vine will cause the squad to jump off onto the elevated ground. The Sprawlvine will form around the cliff it grows on and can never be destroyed. Exposure to water, such as from rain, will speed up the growth of the plant by two days.

Notes
Olimar's notes
- “The Sprawlvine's seed can be considered a bean, as it has the requirements of such, like being high in protein and not having a husk. This plant's vine can grow a fair size due to the nutrients it contains in its hardy shell. Its beans provide frequent nutrition for herbivorous creatures in its surrounding ecosystem.”
Louie's notes
- “Although it's too massive to be used in most dishes that use beans, boiling the Sprawlvine's bean in oil will cause it to pop open, resembling a giant, huskless piece of popcorn. It tastes more pungent than standard popcorn, and functions very good as an appetizer. Pulling it apart with friends at the dinner table is immensely satisfying.”
