The Monochromatic Bulbear is a social grub-dog appearing in Pikmin: Elemental Speciation. It is mostly white in color but has black eyespots and eyestalks, and a large, black stripe on the middle of its body and at its legs, its pattern resembling that of a real-world panda bear. They travel in packs, and although weaker than other bulbears, they regenerate health at a faster rate.
Notes
Olimar's notes
- “This bulbear species is more compact than the typical spotty bulbear, and yet has a high metabolism. This causes it to hunt in packs and makes it a very opportunistic creature. It will not hesitate to eat the children of its pack-mates, which is the reason the babies leave at such a young age.”
Louie's notes
- “Slow cook both shanks with fresh lemongrass and ginger. After letting cook for 2-4 hours, they should be tender enough to pull apart and serve with a side of pan-seared peppers.”
Shacho's notes
- “The amazing stamina of these creatures would make them perfect to ride around on. We could have pageants and races... It would be the birth of a new industry!”
