The '''Pseudofungal Bulblax''' is a [[grub-dog family]] member appearing in ''[[Pikmin I]]'' that mimics the appearance of [[Spotcap]]s and [[Kingcap]]s. It resembles an [[Emperor Bulblax]] with a yellow face and a red backside with white spots. In its inactive state, it lies dormant with its face buried, closely resembling a Kingcap, but bigger. When attacked, its back will shrink slightly before rapidly puffing up again, spraying nearby [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] with [[spore]]s. The beast will then jump out of the ground, revealing its true form. While awake, the Bulblax will lash out its tongue to eat Pikmin and leaders, but can also jump on them to [[Blunt force|crush]] them. | |||

The Pseudofungal Bulblax is a grub-dog family member appearing in Pikmin I that mimics the appearance of Spotcaps and Kingcaps. It resembles an Emperor Bulblax with a yellow face and a red backside with white spots. In its inactive state, it lies dormant with its face buried, closely resembling a Kingcap, but bigger. When attacked, its back will shrink slightly before rapidly puffing up again, spraying nearby Pikmin with spores. The beast will then jump out of the ground, revealing its true form. While awake, the Bulblax will lash out its tongue to eat Pikmin and leaders, but can also jump on them to crush them.
