The squack family consists of creatures that have a duck's body and a chicken's head.

-A Squack is an animal with a duck's body and a chicken's head. Squack types can be determined by their heads. For example, red Squacks are Fiery Squacks, blue Squacks are Watery Squacks. Squacks can be both incredibly helpful and incredibly deadly depending on location. For a Squack to eat a Pikmin, it must be made easy to digest. A Watery Squack needs to douse its Pikmin in water to eat them, and Fiery Squacks need to cook their Pikmin. If the element the Squack needs is not present, the Squack is incredibly helpful as it has almost no way of killing Pikmin and generates 20 Pikmin when only 8 are needed to carry it. However, if water is present, it can take a Pikmin and very quickly reach the water. It is among the fastest Pikmin eaters in the whole game and can grab Pikmin very quickly as well. If a Squack eats a Pikmin whose color corresponds to its head, it will vomit the Pikmin and the hazard required for a Squack to eat the Pikmin (Watery Squack- Water, Fiery Squack- Fire, etc). It will barf between 5-7 balls of its hazard and they will rain slowly. It is recommended that you leave the area quickly because if a Pikmin is caught by the hazard, the Squack can eat the Pikmin before you can call it to you. Squacks. Squacks can instantly be killed by a Purple Pikmin smashing its head but it is a risky move to do so.
