The Mud Bulborb is a grub-dog appearing in Elemental Pikmin. They have a weak grasp of the earth element, and upon reaching half-health, will spit up mud at regular forty-five-second intervals. As this mud endangers the lives of all Pikmin except Brown Pikmin, Brown Pikmin are recommended to use against Mud Bulborbs. Mud Bulborbs should be fought as if they were normal bulborbs. Luring a Mud Bulborb into water will wash it clean and cause it to take steady damage until it reaches a pool of mud.

Notes

In-game entry

How strange... By rolling in mud pools, the creature gets soaked in mud, which appears to be crucial to its survival. I wonder what would happen if I lured it into water...?
