The Skitterwig is a skitterling that, unlike most other members of the family it is part, does not hide whilst disguised as its respective object, but moves almost constantly instead. It shakes it's vibrant green bristles from side to side as it moves around. It's own body is hard to see through it's hairlike bristles, though it's bright red eyes are almost immediately perceptible among the bristles. It is found crawling along narrow ledges and pathways it deems sturdy, using the strong, virtually indestructible bristles on it's tail, held high above it's head, as protection.
